Nancy Cotton is Executive Vice President, Head of Scripted Programming for MGM+, overseeing development and production of all original scripted series on the network. Since joining EPIX in 2018, Cotton has greenlit and overseen the network’s growing slate of scripted originals. Series launched under her purview include GODFATHER OF HARLEM, starring and produced by Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, DC origin story PENNYWORTH, Julian Fellowes’s limited series BELGRAVIA, Ed Burns’BRIDGE AND TUNNEL and upcoming CHAPELWAITE, based on the Stephen King short story Jerusalem’s Lot and starring Oscar-winner Adrien Brody.

Prior to EPIX, Cotton was President, Heyday TV USA, where she oversaw series targeted for broadcast, cable, and streaming, including the NBC dramatic seriesThe In between from showrunner Moira Kirland, and projects in development with Emmy and Oscar-winning director Susanne Bier and Oscar-nominated writer Richard Lagravenese. Previously, Cotton wasSVP, Creative Affairs at Fox 21 Television Studios, where she developed and oversaw multi-award-winning dramaThe Americans(FX), Emmy-nominated series The Killing(AMC, Netflix), and Queen of the South(USA),starring Alice Braga, and also shepherded Emmy award winner Lena Waithe’s The Chi (Showtime) as well as Veena Sud’s Seven Seconds(Netflix), starring Oscar and Emmy winner Regina King.
